Fieldbus Snapshot Capture

The fieldbus snapshot feature allows the user to capture all commands sent by the PLC to the PMC, for up to 30 minutes. This will allow us to reproduce the situation exactly as it is experienced by the user.

This feature is available as from PMC 2022.10v6.11.0 (11676-20548)


To capture a fieldbus snapshot, please follow these procedures:

  1. Turn on the fieldbus snapshot from the diagnostics panel

  2. Start the PLC program

  3. After the error shows up, use the same diagnostics panel to turn off the fieldbus snapshot. The maximum snapshot duration is 30 minutes

  4. In the Diagnosis Tools menu, choose Get System Logs

  1. Make sure the "Fieldbus Recorder" checkbox is selected, then click Download Files
